Situated on 420 acres of designated ecological reserve land in Paradise Valley BC, the North Vancouver Outdoor School (NVOS) is unique among a handful of environmental learning centres in Canada.  The vision of the NVOS is that future site and facility development will embody the environmental principles espoused by the school.  The sustainable components and systems of infrastructure and buildings are designed such that they become an integral part of the learning experience.  The project is a candidate for LEED Platinum accreditation.
