Ronald McDonald House

The mission of Toronto’s Ronald McDonald House is to provide accommodation and enhance the quality of life for out-of-town families with seriously ill children through a caring and supportive “home away from home.” The new Ronald McDonald House is designed to accommodate 81 families making it the largest in Canada and the second largest in the world. The program includes 66 single-room family suites, 15 two-bedroom family suites, a house manager’s suite, communal areas including living, kitchen and dining areas and administration and support spaces. The project is a candidate for LEED Gold accreditation.
