Green Phoenix
The Green Phoenix project consists of the refurbishment of the 1976, 136-unit apartment building attached to the Parkdale United Church. Green Phoenix is one of the first projects completed under the “Mayors Tower Renewal” initiative. Green Phoenix incorporates sustainable technologies such as ground source (geo-exchange) heating & cooling, a solar thermal array to preheat domestic hot water, re-skinning of the façade to triple the R values and a roof top AHU incorporating enthalpy energy recovery.
